The Magic Counts
This year we went to the Polar Express train ride in Perris, California. It was genuinely magical. Our son was completely absorbed, and to our surprise, my husband and I were too. The music, the story, the interaction and pacing of it all. You’re not just watching. You’re inside it. It felt old fashioned in the best way. Shared. Embodied. Real.
Experiences like this matter to me and my work at Soul y Sombra because they reflect the mission of living a whole life. One that makes room for presence, ritual, joy, and connection. These moments are not indulgent. They are grounding. They remind us that tending to wonder and togetherness is part of staying well.
Sometimes the magic isn’t extra. It’s necessary. If you’re interested we went to the The Polar Express Train Ride in Perris, California.
